Years 7 - 9Topic: Farming

The list below provides a variety of farming-related links. Some of these are very specific, others are more general. The specialist links usually use the term AGRICULTURE when talking about farming. One of the best sites to start is the excellent FACE Education Site produced jointly by the National Farmers Union and the Royal Agricultural Society of England.. This site is relatively new and very well written.

The F.A.C.E. PageThis excellent website contains free factsheets, a photo gallery and most importantly, a series of farming case studies - over 10 for the UK plus 3 overseas farms. These are detailed and regularly updated by the farmers themselves and provide good quality material for Keystage 3 case studies and GCSE research/projects. Click on 'farm profiles' in the menu to get to the case studies.
