Visitor:
I have been visiting the National Park all my life and we often bring our tents and camp in the local area. The proposal at Dalecourt Farm is a low-level development which helps the local economy and provides extra facilities for visitors. It will not be harmful to the environment, although there will probably be some extra traffic. The National Park needs to provide more Park and Ride facilities to deal with this. What I really object to are the large schemes to extend quarrying in the area - they bring noise, pollution and heavy lorries plus the visible scars on the hillside take many years to heal.
