This photo shows the view westwards from the observation platform on the 102nd floor of the Empire State Building. It shows One Penn Plaza isolated by the older and smaller buildings which surround it. It was completed in 1972 and covers an entire city block betwen 7th and 8th Avenues and West 33rd and 34th Streets. It has 14 entrances and 44 lifts! In the background is the Hudson River.
