LOCATION: Lyme Regis, Dorset The view is from the high wall of the Cobb in Lyme Regis, looking west. It shows the sun shining on semi-submerged ledges as the tide washes in over them. The Cobb is a stone wall, man-made harbour built originally around 800 years ago. It was redeveloped into its current stone state in the 1860's.
